We are Ben Brabyn and Matt Cooper.

Ben is based in London, while Matt lives in France.

It all began on a skydiving course in 2000.  We came up with the idea of helping people create personal websites where they asked their friends to sponsor them.  We had joined the Royal Marines on the same day in 1995, so we'd worked together before, and decided to set up Bmycharity.

Ben is "front of house", while Matt develops our technology and keeps all our systems running smoothly.  We also work with several experts who help us with design, marketing and making everything run smoothly.  By running a very lean company we are able to keep the costs to our clients low, and we're committed to making them lower and lower as the company grows.

We're here to make giving better.  Giving is always good, but it's even better when the gift is exactly what is wanted or needed, and doesn't go to waste.  So here's what we aim to do...

With Bmycharity we help charity supporters collect donations for their favourite causes quickly and easily, while at the same time helping the charities save time and cost in administration - and reclaim as much tax as possible.

Giftshare helps everyone give personal gifts that really count.  Many people want a gift that's too pricey for any one friend to give - but by setting up a Giftshare page, they (or someone collecting for them) can easily organise for friends and family anywhere to contribute.  No more unwanted bottles of scent or pairs of socks sitting in the attic!
